I just got back from Maryland this weekend, and the Small Press Expo is a pretty great show! Met a lot of nice people, handed out some new minis, and I picked up Lifemeter 3, which I mentioned before as containing a submission of mine and one of my friends. It’s a REALLY nice book full of some great stuff, so pick it up as soon as it becomes available here! Other than that, I got to sit in on the Ignatz Awards, which are not only awesome because the awards are bricks and the presentation is great, but also because afterwards there was a CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN and i dipped a Beef Wellington in it and oh man it was so good even though that sounds gross. 
Needless to say I will definitely attend again next year, barring any unforeseen mishaps with polar bears and farming equipment.
Friday’s comic will be up late tonight or early Saturday afternoon, i’ve been in Jersey for the past few days and was unable to get anything done. 
That was my last time traveling for a while though, so we WILL be back to a normal schedule next week. Sorry for all the delays guys, but things will be back on track, so thanks for sticking with me in the meantime.
Sorry guys, I forgot to mention that I’d be in New York City for half of the week. I wanted to have an update ready for the weekend but it doesn’t look like that’s gonna happen, so we’ll be back on Tuesday, folks!
Well I’m back from MoCCA now, and it was lots of fun, albeit a little too on the warm side due to the Armory’s lack of air conditioning. But a little heat couldn’t dampen the festivities as far as I’m concerned! Thanks to everyone who stopped by our table, it was nice meeting you all! And if there are any newcomers here fresh from the MoCCA festival, then welcome! Hopefully you’ll enjoy reading my story as much as I enjoy drawing it.
I forgot to mention that as of last friday I officially graduated with a BFA in Cartooning from the School of Visual Arts. I guess that means I can officially start being a professional at some point! I feel like Link in the Legend of Zelda, starting off with nothing more than a crappy shield to my name, only this shield is named COMICS.
That was meant to be deep but it failed on so many levels.
I’d also like to mention that during the first weekend of June I’ll be at the MoCCA Art Festival, sharing a table with a few of my fellow graduates, including these two fine people! If you’re in the area, drop by and say hi! But please refrain from throwing things.
Sorry guys, seems even after taking a quick break, Glenn’s STILL running! Hopefully he’ll actually be somewhere by the time Friday rolls around. RUN FASTER GLENN, JEEZ.
Just a heads up, there will be no comic on Friday because it is my BIRTHDAY and I will probably be drowning in cake or something. Comics will resume next Tuesday!
Well, I just added contact info today, since it only just not occurred to me that people reading this might actually want to say things to me, though I can’t clearly understand why. It’s all in the Artist section if you feel inclined enough to check it out.
Anyways, my spring break is coming up next week, so I’m hoping to use up some of that free time to polish the site further, until it glistens like a precious gem. Hopefully it will captivate all five of your senses!
